After being on the road for almost 2 months - and having not done much driving this summer, my Number 1 Co-Pilot begged me to go for a nice long drive this afternoon.
We did 150 mile + loop through the Texas backwoods NW of Houston.
Here are a couple snap shots of the day.
The new Senna driving shoes, co-pilot and car..
The car...
Worlds greatest co-pilot...
...and again...
A gaggle of Hardley-Ablesons...
...dawdle past... these moving roadblocks are all that kept our speed below the ton most of the time..
Now these are some awesome Redneck digs..
An old US Post Office...
Apart from bikers... the only other car worth mentioning the that we saw the whole day...
Hey - look at this...
You are never to young to appreciate a 295 width tyre print..
A dollor doesn't go a long way when you are talking 295 tyres.. for scale or when buying new ones..
An early Dodge RAM SRT drive train mule...
Leaf springs havn't developed much in the last 60 years have they...
The shoes are superb - they feel so right for driving.
No video is forth coming - we just enjoyed running like like a scalded cat through the back roads.
I suspect the Dodge test drivers where hiding in the reeds across the road - just waiting for us to leave before they fired up that SRT engined beast..
