Not a very good situation.

Oh, and i wouldnt be surprised if it isnt dangerous to the public. Youd be surprised at the number of different boundaries that would have to get through before becoming anywhere near the outside environment.
If it was dangerous im pretty sure the people working there wouldnt be very happy eh?

i live half way around the world. so either in a freak coincidence that it goes through the earth im pretty much safe. but this is bullshit how could they not have noticed it was leaking?!!? and that is a whole shitload of nuclear fuel and nitric acid mixture.

This doesn't really sound like the threat of the leak happened from the actual nuke plant, but from a process which they were using to probably make weapons. Sad thing is that it will cast a lot of doubt on their nuke program. I think they should all move to the Candu design (or the new ACR reactors). But then i'm a little biased.
