Default Road La Calobra - Palma de Mallorca

These pictures were taken by me during a tour in the island in my vacations. They were taken inside the bus.

My wish was to rent some rwd to destroy some gasoline and tires there!

Enjoy

My reading during the week.

Sure is a nice road!!

But in Mallorca are a lot of this kind of twisty roads, specially at the nord side of the island, called Tramuntana.
During the winter there some rallies and oldtimer rallies with some known people like Walter Röhrl.

Here a link with some pictures of this events:

nice "mountain" roads and scenery, if I scroll fast enough, it's like a movie
People often thinks or saw the islands Mallorca-Ibiza-Menorca only as beach-hotel place, but the inside of these islands is very nice too (and some tricky roads with sharp curves are waiting

Thanks for the pics

I´m very exicet when i saw roads of my island, my home. Sa calobra is probably the road more "fun" and dificult of mallorca. althoug there are a few errors: the name isn´t la calobra is "Sa Calobra" and not is in Palma de mallorca, Palma de Mallorca is the capital city not the name of island. The name of island is Mallorca. Sa Calobra is of the town: Escorca.

I went there once, and I just couldn't beleive this was so twisty. I was ridding with my dad in a big old Merc, and hopefully didn't we cross to many other cars. I don't how you can get buses down there!

The pics don't really render how twisty it is, but nice pictures anyways.
