[OFFER] Best Motoring's Champions Battle!! The best BM vid
http://www.filefactory.com/get/f.php...767e4410585b3c
I've this video for a long time, but I was unable to upload it. This is the epithome of Best Motoring battles. This is an even greater than even a Super Battle and consists in comparing the best tuned street-legal cars with real racing cars. There were only two Champions Battle in BM's history: 1994 and 2002. This is the 2002 battle.
To download, just click the link and then wait some seconds and follow the instructions.
Featured cars:
ARTA Formula Nippon (F3000) Car - Juichi Wakisaka (Japan F. Nippon Champion)
ARTA NSX JGTC GT500 Car - Keiichi Tsuchiya
Porsche 993 GT2 JGTC GT300 Car - Takuya Kurosawa
Mitsubishi Lancer EVO Puma endurance racing car - Nakaya
Falken GTR endurance racing car - don't know driver's name
MINE's Skyline BNR34 - Gan-San
Ferrari F40 Special Tune - don't know driver's name
All cars featured are racing cars except the Mine's Skyline and the F40. That F40 has a stock engine, but has LM-spec interior, wheels, gearbox, suspension, exaust and features semi-slick S-tires (as the Mine's Skyline).
More than trying to make a direct comparison between the performance of these cars (wich wouldn't be fair), the purpose of this battle is to ilustrate the differences between several types of racing cars and between racing cars and the best tuned street cars. Enjoy and leave your comments!

Yes, the Mine's has 600hp, plus it weights only 1400 Kg (compared to the 1600+ of a normal Skyline), has shorter gear ratios and S-tires. About the GT2, it was driven by a former Formula 3000 champion, Takuya Kurosawa. Remember that these GT300 GT2's are detuned to fit the GT300 class, so they have only 300hp. That's a big disadvantage facing the other cars in this competition.
The F40, IMO did good, because it has stock engine and even so, with minor mods, it was 3s per lap faster than a stock F40. That's a great achievement. I don't know who is the driver, but I guess he competes in JGTC.

Yes. All credits must go to you, you were the one who sent me this marvellous video about one year ago. Thank you very very very much, once again!!
By the way, do you already have internet connection in your new house? Why don't I see you ever online?

Only 300hp in the GT2? that explains it all...
But I still believe that the F40 could have been faster... considering it has 478hp and 1100kg... Look at the Lancer, can't believe it has more power and less weight than the Ferrari!
BTW, this is my 7000th post!!
|
The Lancer is a racing car with slick tires, the F40 is just a road car with S-tires. That alone makes a huge difference.

You have to wait for the countdown timer...while I was waiting the first time, it forwarded me to some other page...just go back and re-wait for the timer to countdown, then you can link to it...good luck.
