Actually, I think it has its place if used properly.. As a poser mobile its crap.. but

No pickup space only advantage would be hauling capacity and no truck driver's license needed.
That is a bigger deal then one thinks. I wouldnt mind having one and a enclosed multiple car trailer. Or if I had a business like mulching or something it would be good to carry large loads. There are uses for big trucks in certain situations.

I think its cool and all however, it can tow 12,500lbs i think while the top of the line f350 can haul 19,500. It does say it has different engine options but i havnt seen any specs.

According to international it can tow 12500 and has a gvw of 26000 lbs(aka can carry 12000 lbs over the trucks weight). This is not the combined rate.
The engine also only requires overhaul every 500000 miles like a truck engine.

Compare that to the ford f350 super duty which has a gcw total of 26000
The difference is gcw is the total combined of truck and tow.

considering the weight of the f350(15000 as opposed to 14000) is actually heavier then this vehicle by 1000 lbs..
that means the f350 can tow
11000 lbs total with nothing in the truck.
courtsey fords site
ford f350 towing info:
http://www.fordvehicles.com/trucks/s...eatures/specs/

An outside source of the cxt lists a gcv of 32,000lbs

32000-14000 means the gcv can tow 18000 lbs (in base form, they have a cdlrequired one thats in the 58000 lb range I hear).

That means the cxt can carry 7000 lbs more then the ford. I could see there being plenty of reasons in the comercial world for wanting to haul an extra 3 1/2 tons, can't you?

The damn things built off the base from a semi, your not going to see a consumer truck hauling those type of numbers.
