I've never owned a GT game before... so..

I've owned GT4 since yesterday afternoon and my impressions are:

> Each car feels different; as for example i can rocket around LS much faster in an M5 than i would be able to in an E55 AMG

> The engine sounds are beyond great; not fan of the background and menu music though

> Graphics look excellent for say an NSX; other modelling i was less impressed by, but hey i play in car view anyways

>Diffculty level is good; AI can be menacing (at my expertise) and you can easy learn to shave seconds off a lap time

>The menus confuse me quite a bit; but i learn in time

>Car selection is excellent with Pagani, TVR and Ruf

Great game

I haven't touched GT4 in at least 3 months, but after reading this thread had the sudden urge to take a 911 around the 'Ring.

I have to admit one thing - the physics in anything but dry surfaces are absolute shit. How can an M3 beat an RS4 in the wet? its absolute shit and the rally is horrifying. But I love the game...in the dry

Ok I'm over it again, after about 30mins.

I tuned an RS6 to ~750hp and shit does it sound awesome, but it just gets repetitive after awhile..... :bah:

I find most games are like that - you get motivated then the interest fades. In fact, life islike that hehe

I could play GT3 forever and always, and I dreamt about GT4 for several years, but when it came I just got bored after an hour... Although, Nurburgring is still really cool...
