Default Hooray for top speed

Just hit my personal best top speed, 416mph

Toyota GT-ONE -

My fastest non-breakout speed is only 372.81 though.

There are certain places on certain courses where you can 'break through' the walls and go off and explore the map outside the confines of the track itself. That particular photo is taken at Cote d'Azur (Monaco), though the others that I know of in GT4 are at Seattle and the Nurburgring (I've only done Monaco and the Nurburgring myself though).

And no saadie, the game doesn't crash or anything like that.

The right wall on the downhill approach to the Nouvelle Chicane.

Some pics of my adventures on the way to 416mph -

Pretty bloody fast, and the angle is pretty much a crapshoot. It's actually the corner where the wall meets the barrier as well. If all goes how it should, you'll end up spitting through the corner and out beside the blue crane on the other side.

Well the game works fine after going through the walls, its just a little bit of a clipping issue with certain areas when you jam a car through them in just the right way. Whether or not that counts as crashing, well, whatever haha.

edit:
Yea pretty much, though if you cross back over the actual racetrack, you'll 'fall' back into the track and have to break out all over again.
