Well, I'm pretty sure America has enough Christian influences for most Americans to be able to adjudge it to be a Christian country.
In any case, the Christmas tree isn't a Christian symbol, like we said before. It's derived from pre-Christian pagan traditions, so this rabbi is just talking shit.

Thats fucking stupid. I swear some people just look for problems to cause.
I understand all the religious background behind Christmas, but for a lot of people, stores especially, its a marketing tool.
Just because there is a Christmas tree in a store window doesnt mean the owner is shouting, "we hate Jews!" :roll:

they just said today on the news that the trees are going back up, and the rabbi is dropping his threat of a lawsuit. I can't remember if they're putting the menorahs up too.
