No you are right, the C-class used the AMG kit and advantage package and the 3s-eries they had was just an ordinary 3er.
and it was no test, just talk about the cars design.

They are both ugly, but the Merc is better as it has excellent comfort, I've already driven the 320d with runflat, and it's not comfy, especially if you drive on the highway, you fel every bump, and they are too noisy, overall not so bad.

thats why some people change their runflats to other tires. Although the runflats arent that bad anymore, I think its generation 4 bmw using right know so its improving. but like I said, its easy to fix if you dont like it.

I think you misread there...
They are practically the same cars, with 3L diesel engines.

Don't you have to alter/change the suspension? I thought the runflats on the 3 was adapted to the suspension.

Nope, only problem is that you wont have spare-tire if you trade your runflats but there is a problem to solve that too so No, its not a big problem if you trade your runflats for non runflats.
