Default Hard Drives

Ok, so I want to take my 250gig harddrive out of my computer and make it an external drive. I was wondering if anyone has any experience doing this or has a product to recommend. I dont want to spend a ton of money on doing this, but I dont want a POS.

Any help/advice?

Thanks in advance

Very cheap and very easy to do, just an adaptor that turns an IDE/SATA interface into a USB2 one, I have tried it with at least 20 different drives and all have worked perfectly.

External drive enclosures are very cheap, take your pick, they all pretty much do the same unless you want something with a button for automated back up.

Yeah those external enclosures are cheap nowadays and if you want to get one with a fan it will keep it a bit cooler.....

I dont want to buy one, I want to use it to hold all my TG vids and such, but it will also make it easier to transfer all my files from my current computer to my new laptop.
