The New K.I.T.T. is... (Knight Rider)
I know there isn't a new Firebird, but... this is too weird.
It kinda looks like a photoshopped pic or just a cheap work on a KR, but who knows?

How unfortunate. I realize there isn't a Firebird in production right now, but couldn't they have picked a more appropriate car that, at the very least, retained the sleek body of the old Firebird? This Mustang GT5, though fast, is a brick in the wind. I also don't care for current gen Mustangs, but that is only my opinion and isn't really important here.

It doesn't feel right. The red "light" at the front of Mustang just don't feel "KITT"ish.

It just feels wrong but maybe we'll get used to it.

God I hate Mustangs. Whoever came up with this idea should be fired. Whats next? When they remake the A-Team are they going to be driving PT Cruisers?

should've waited for the camaro maybe? since its the closest to a pontiac firebird...but then again we're talking about movie makers here...they were probably like "what muscle car is popular right now? shelby gt 500? ok we'll use that"...and then they'll probably find a way to trash it for "drama"...truth is only car nuts will probably care what car is used and we're like 0.00000000079% of the human race

I don't think it would work. The Camaro wouldn't have that sleek nose that the old Trans Am did.
I think the only way this would work is for K.I.T.T. to be a foul mouthed badass computer who makes reckless decisions and tries to run over whoever crosses his path. That'd suit his image better.

Nevermind. That's not going to happen.
This is TV news, but it's TV news that involves both Knight Rider and Will Arnett, and those are two things that the public at large need to know about.
Arnett (Arrested Development) has been officially announced as the man to provide the voice of the car KITT in the upcoming TV show redo of Knight Rider. This might be the most inspired casting we've heard all year. Arnett's got a good bit of gravel going on, but he's, more importantly, freakin' hilarious and easily one of the best of The 27%ers™.
If the new Knight Rider can't have The Hoff, we're glad it can have Arnett and we will therefore watch it. Yes, we will. Apparently, The Hoff is in it, so we will definitely watch it.

I heard that the new KITT will get the latest computer software/hardware from Intel/Microsoft.
Some exerpts from a future episode:
Michael: KITT, the bad guys are getting too close ... I can feel the bullets approaching ... hit turbo boost and lets get the hell out of here.
KITT: Hold on a minute Michael, I am downloading some Windows security updates and need to re-boot. You need to distract them for 5 minutes.
Michael: FUCKING computer nonsense. I'll trade you in for a simple Ferrari 348.

What was wrong with the original voice of KITT. He may be old but hes still around and fairly cheap.
As for the car.. A black Vette would have been a better option. At least need that long swooping nose.
