Until the second run I was kind of wondering why this is even worth posting. I can show you a half a dozen mustangs and fbodys near here pushing 900-1000 hp. Gm use to have a 900 hp fbody on the show circuit. Other then nitrous that one was actually NA.

Still 1000 hp dynos are cool.

THe main purpose for the car will be daily driver street racer/1/4 mile dragracer
I wonder wath it could do on the standing mile.

fox bodies dont have the aero to lend well to running that fast... not without "ghetto" modifications to make the car stable at such speeds...

fox bodies dont have the aero to lend well to running that fast...
Less the Aero.. More the gearing. Same with the fbodies. What it would take to break 200 with either car is alot more then most people would like to spend. It can be done.. but it wont be a street car when your done. I know I wouldnt trust an open drive shaft spinning at the speeds necessary for one to hit 200. Not to mention the safety reqs. The local club looked into 2 mile top speed runs.. You couldnt run under the one org unless you had a full cage, drive train loop, single reinforced hubs, and gosh knows how much. I took one look at it and realized it would cost you 10k just in safety equipment.

Thats why they shoudl come to Texas... all you need is a pair of boots and a gun rack to run the Texas Mile
