I have a Borla Header and Stromung Dual Tip on my 99 2.5RS and the sound is just awesome. That boxer sound when entering the freeway with the pedal down.

Anyways, the car is going into the shop 2 weeks from now to get an engine swap. Putting in a 05 USDM STI engine and 6spd tranny. The shop is charging me an extra $500 for the 05 Dash, cluster, and steering wheel. Can't wait for my tax refund to come back!

dingo car looks great yet again.

The purpose of those "6 inch" exhaust is to minimize backpressure into the turbo system. A free flowing exhaust is a happy exhaust with propper tunning. Otherwise you will throw CEL's everywhere hehe and get boost creep, Im sure youre well aware of that though.

Car looks awesome, calipers look good too! ce28n's would be nice huh. hahaha

Yeah I'm not disputing the purpose of the huge exhausts, just that they don't look all that great IMO......but its a compromise that you need to make I suppose if you want big power.

Finally a new exhaust, or at least the muffler. Must be a big improvement and still looks neat!

You wont minimise back pressure by going any larger than 3" diameter on a modded road car, (other than ridiculous power turbo cars 700+ bhp), and there are a hell of a lot of systems on the market that have 3" diameter tubing the entire way, including the perf in the scilencer and then weld a 6" diameter tail pipe on the end, which does precisely bugger all other than look stupid!
And a 'free flowing' exhaust on an otherwise standard turbo set up isnt always the best thing, as the boost on spool up will probably spike higher, and unless your ECU has WOT Lambda closed loop control, which i doubt, you get some nice lean burning!

Well after a few hassles I finally fitted my new 18" wheels/tyres this morning, nothing like doing something yourself.

I've always wanted black/chrome lip wheels, just think they make a car look aggresive! I have to say I'm happy with the result, let me know what you think...

Next on the list is a rear swaybar (22mm adjustable), and Ferodo DS2500 pads and maybe slotted rotors (fronts).
