I like the yellow lights

You only notice an improvement at low revs? I'd imagine that chip would allow you to rev higher?

Engine can't keep it up eh?

Whats wrong with the camshaft? I'm looking into getting a 325i with high mileage (120,000 MILES+)

camshaft is ok. But many sportcars or tuned engines works hard till 1000rpm.
Don't know maybe we just need to rise revs till 1k
But it's annoying to hold your foot on the gas pedal when you stop and stuff

talkin about e30 325i - use search.

Maybe need to raise the auto choke of your engine so it keeps it above 1000rpm? Although you should be able to run it at idle under 1000rpm.

nice

why wouldnt you just put there 3,5 from e34 or e32? http://www.e30.de/335e.htm you will have over 200hp without tweaking anything and as it will be stock there will be smaller chance for breakdowns 8)

don't want 3.5 - cuz i'm too young for that. We have two e30 with 3.5. And they are FAST! BTW 3.5 - that's old engine
325 for practise
chip improvment ? Chip programmed to raise rmp a little at idle (about 1000). But I have about 900 (maybe 800). Engine works like American V8
and ofcourse + few hp and if i'm not mistaken higher rpm limiter
