Yeah I know you Euro boys will take a E30 over this rice box in a heart beat, but this car is every asian boy's wet dream

Thanks for that link Arman.. I still haven't heard from the dude down south who is supposedly looking for a quality E30 for me.

No no no . . . . don't get the SR5 version. You gotta get the GTS. Bare minimum. At least the GTS is fun to drive, you will end up hating that car. GTS models are a lot more rare though.

Definitely the hatchback looks better as well.

I know you've looked to the point of exhaustion and that you are ready to settle on anything right now, but don't make that mistake because you will end up regretting it. Worst of all, you won't even like what you are driving. Just keep on looking they are out there . . .

It took me 8-9 months to find my M3. The GTS I used to had, I got really luckly and just came across it.

BTW: Since it is an SR5 model, technically it isn't even a AE86, it is an AE85.

Also, after owning both cars, the E30 and AE86, I gotta say that the AE86 was more fun to drive outright. The E30 is arguably nicer and better in certain ways, but on the fun factor, the AE86 wins. I don't know what it was, maybe the higher revving engine, then way I was able to push the car. I think it came down to that I was able to drive the AE86 harder than the E30.

I'm not ready to settle for anything.. I knew when I started that it might take a while before I find something worthy of me emptying my savings account.

Wasn't aware the SR5 is the "Hachi-go" ops: Boy would I have been embarresed, just like that kid in the anime

Well.. the hunt goes on. I think I will start searching for 3rd generation Camaros and Firebirds again.

Thanks

We got them little things all over melbourne australia thanks to the growing drift scene.. the price of the cars went from 500 dollars.. (i shit you not) to 10.000 dollars lol...

i personally like them but if you gonna do moutian runs.. try getting spacers on teh front and rear to make the car a bit wider.. it helps alot..

also try and find a 20v 4age engine..

you got the sedan version from what i can see there.. so im not 100% on what else is good about them but i know the hatch backs are quiet roomy and easy to drive !!

good purchase if you bought or going to buy one..

But i got wrx so meh

20 valve would be baaaad ass!

Sadly, it's too late to find a GTS(not a SR-5) for a good price.. god damn street racers.

Like ae86_16v has mentioned, I'm not even going to bother with a SR-5 SOHC piece of crap compared to the GT-S.

everso, i'd appreciate it if you could let me know if you find something nice in my price range in the area

Says the posting has expired.. What was it?

I actually haven't checked any classifieds in the past week.. Been thinking about just getting a cheap sport bike instead.

Damn, that's one nice Canadian AE86. Well worth the $4k(cdn?) if all the modifications were done properly.

Some of these nicely tuned AE86's go for nearly $10k.

Are you looking for a tuned car, or a standard car so that you can mod it yourself DMF?
