oh yee of little knowledge.
Blockbuster was not really hurt by Netflix because people that rent from netflix get 2 movies at a time and have to wait for the damn thing to get mailed back to the warenouse and then have their new one mailed to them. people want movies on a Friday guaranteed not it might be in the mail. And what's even better is that Blockbuster is talking about having their online service working out of the stores all over the place so you can order it and come pick it up or you can have it mailed to you. And what if we just decide to buy out Netlfix like we are with Hollywood Video. |
Sorry, just reiterating CNN headline news. They say blockbuster is changing cuz of Netflix pressure. That's also the reason they're trying to go after Hollywood Video - they're losing marketshare on an area they use to have a near monopolistic control. Now they're struggling to fight back.
Oh, and BTW, netflix is 3 videos at a time, not 2.
