No you said you didn't like like diesels in general because of the pollution! Because they are worse to the environment then petrol engines. Thats what you said!

You started the diesel thing in this topic mate so don't blame me!
Ah yes I see. Forgot to mention then that the pollution-thing is one of the things I don't like diesels for
Ok I understand but this Dieselengine and other modern ones are as clean if not cleaner then the petrolversions

What are the other things then you don't like diesels for?
They're noisy, and they help you an awful lot when you're driving a car. Petrol engines on the other hand, they make you really drive the car, those engines are much more sensitive. You'll notice that when you're driving in a diesel powered car yourself (probably your drivingschool car wil be diesel).

Well the latest dieselcars (Audi, BMW) are very good. Noise isn't so bad and the engine is pretty sensitive and very powerful. A rookie couldn't tell the difference. Im not a dieselfan too but they're not bad 8)

No I drive petrol

lol

And you can actually tell the difference between a petrol and diesel engine, even though you're a rookie. The diesel engine requires much less energy to drive from 1st gear, when driving petrol engined cars you've got to push the gas pedal more, and hold the clutch longer..

Sounds ok, but I'd imagine you could tell that was a diesel

Will you agree with me that some diesel cars are really good, not better then petrol cars thats ridiculous but maybe as good as? 8)

^^stoopie and topgearnl, the diesel is cleaner than the petrol, uses half as much fuel, has more torque, is silent (we have doubleglazing as well) and the petrol 4.2 is abotu $50.000 more expensive here. The responsiveness is good, like a petrol, due to a good gearbox. The noise is like a petrol on accelleration due to a fine tuned exhsust.

^goodduck... the wheels are 20'' porsche cayenne snowtires
the summertires are on 21'' S8 rims
