The Stig can be a vary of persons, not just one.
|
Yep. That's what I've always thought.

Well done to both of you... this point has been made to death.
Of course it could be various people - except really fat ones, anbody will look like the Stig if they wear the right gear.

Interesting but Stig has a different line to all the F1 drivers who come to the track which is maybe odd ?
My mother happened to be watching a little whilst reading her book a while ago, during the episode where DH came on to test the Ferrari 575 and the Vanquish, she said 'is that the Stig'?!!!! I asked her why she would think that and she said by his shape and the way he walks/stands!!
Women do notice these things!

LOL, that is true. Women do notice things like this. I have seen it happen all too often. Damn women recognize you from across the boarder just by how you walk and carry yourself.
Anyway, The stig may be more than one person, but i really couldnt see that as being true. I mean businees wise, why would you hire more than one driver unless its needed. Its a full time job, but I dont think another person is needed. Hell they get breaks all the time i'm sure. If i were the stig, i wouldnt want anybody else anyway. I would be pretty upset if it were someone elses turn to drive, and "this weeks" test involved the latest Ferrari. Whatever - thats my petty change.

if you look in hte most recent ep. of top gear, you can see when the stig is driving the nobel his head moves forward and you can see the back of his neck, and that he cas brown hair. not salt and pepper.
so this week the stig wasn't Hill

Well the stig is definitely a character played by different people.
But there has got to be a "main" stig that teaches all of the celebrities to go around the track, right?

I thought that the Stig was Perry McCarthey or something. That being said, I may be behind the times as I don't watch Top Gear.

me and a friend have a theory that the stig could be colin mcrae but we are likely way off. i mean he takes some coners differently than the f1 drivers and is definatly a talented driver so it is possable. just one more driver to think about.

since we always or almost always see him sitting down on car, we cant conclude that he is fatter or skinnier to prove its diff drivers.
