I think the speedometer normally doesn't stop when there is an impact, but anyway police don't give a fuck here in Guatemala about the speed the car was travelling

that airbag definitely deployed the damn door is up and the bag is hanging down if you've ever had one open on you or have seen one open they inflate and instantly deflate when something hits it to absorb the force rather than a person hitting an insanely high pressure bag it would almost be like hitting the dashboard. And many cars deploy the airbags no matter what happens with the seatbelt. very few cars have features that don't open the bags, some Mercedes won't deploy the airbags if a child's safety seat is on the though, sort of like some pickup's have the option to turn off the passenger side airbags.

That's pretty impressive. Must've been going pretty damn fast to mess the car up like that. The Enzo crashes I've seen have looked a lot less bad by comparison, but that's probably a result of the carbonfiber construction instead of monocoque and spaceframe.

Well as of what I have seen, speedometers normally go down when there is a crash. In the Audi wreck in Portugal and in this one it didn´t go down and I´m guessing it was because almost all or all the wheels/supension/brakes (sensors??) were taken away from the main structure due to the impact.

I think I've heard once the speedometers these days, point the speed when the car crashes, not sure though...

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ they have black boxes on alot of newer cars that also record all that information so that it is much easier to find this information such as speed and whether the driver tried to brake or avoid anything.

Data recorders that store at least the last 5 seconds of data have been in use for at least 6 years or so on many cars.
More than you could/would imagine.

As far as I know the Audi A3 crash was in Portugal and this accident took place in Guatemala, not exactly Europe
