It's a lot of weight off...but don't forget the car weighs in excess of 5000lbs in normal form, so even with 1000lbs off its still ~200lb heavier than a 575M (3815lb) and only has a little bit more power...so I wouldn't get too excited.

They could always trim off another 1000lb and turn up the boost...now that would be something cool! 8)
