Fourth isn't a terrible spot though... A blown fuel pump / running out of fuel / whatever happened on the other hand, sucks balls.

I'm desperate to see the first rain race, preferably the one where it starts raining out of a sudden in the middle of the race when they are running slicks!

Nah. If they're like this in the dry, you know they'll just red flag it.

Only 7 to finish..... Wow!!
It was more like watching UFC than F1.
Couldn't believe Coulthard - saying he "can't wait to beat that little shit" referring to Massa?
Despite of course the fact he drove into Massa...
Go BMW!!

the 1st race always brings out the accidents
i dont think the drivers are use to the heat we have in melbourne lol
DC's comments about massa where the greatest ive heard for awhile "kick the shit out of the lil bastard" lolllllll
well done to lewis and to heidfeld and rosberg
i felt for bourdais
i laughed at asslonso and laughed even more at webber
dunno wat massa was doing in the 1st corner lol
kimmi would of been 1st or 2nd if he didnt get stuck behind a slow ass honda and if he didnt have so many mistakes, its like ferrari had 2 rookies today
only good thing ferrari can take out of this is that they get a fresh engine and gearbox for next weekends race and mayb this time they can race like where use to seeing them race and mayb BMW can perform well in qualifying and in the actual race this time around
ahh well im glad its back

I agree on that point.
And I liked the BMW showing, but the praise really goes to Williams Toyota.
I felt for Bourdais too, I'm serious. Less than 10 laps to go more than half the field out...damn that sucks...that guy deserves more points.

Wow! Only 7 cars finished! I wonder how many would finish the Monaco GP... 1? We might even have an exciting race in Hungary if drivers keep making mistakes.
The race was very exciting and I'm hoping it continues through the next 17 rounds. Highlight was definitely the tussle between Kovalainen in the McLaren and Alonso in the Renault. I would have loved to see Ron Dennis' reaction when Alonso immediately overtook the Finn...
EDIT: Reason why Heikki was easily passed by Fernando

Very disappointing for the Ferrari drivers, I'm not sure what it was with them. They drove terribly
Word is that Barrichello was officially disqualified, thus Raikkonen gets a point, Bourdais 2 and Nakajima 3! Williams must be happy, they got 9 points from this race. Honestly though I wasn't too impressed by Nakajima's performance especially in hitting Kubica
