Well - well - well.
Amazing - why all the hating on the AM now? Just because it is kicking th GT3's ass in it's own backyard?
So typical - no one questions the possibility and believeability every time Porsche or Ferrari reach a new level of performance... but as soon as a Allied manufacturer kicks their ass - all the Axis supports cry foul...
I think that now that EVERYONE does their development work at the 'Ring - they can all easily reach and exceed the Axis cars numbers... - as shown by the plastic push rod leaf spring Yank, and now the overweight portly English gent...
I love it.. the AM has more style, refinement and luxury in it'sd glove bax than the GT3 has in the entire car.. AND it whips it's ass in it's own sand box... LOL ....

I also find that hard to believe (but of course it can happen).
IMO Aston has been in the recent years the marque with the most beutiful cars (they don´t offer a single ugly model), and having one that can beat a GT3 in a track would be awesome!

Aston for the city.
360 CS for the track.
GT3 way in the back.

im am fondly looking forward to the production of the amv8... now even more so with this sub 8 minute time
rc points out something quite interesting... why couldnt a car thats always been about luxury, and performance be un-suitable at kicking 8 minutes?

I'm so glad that Aston is taking Porsche head on with this car. The Vantage name looks well deserved with this car and Aston Martins will once again rule the road - and perhaps the track after a spot of afternoon tea.

I'm still waiting to hear how this V8 sounds in person

Euhm, is my english so bad or do you need to read that again (no offence ment)
if he says it's not impossible, he means it is possible that the AMV8 ran a 2 seconds faster lap then the GT3...
