Just to clear up a few things.
All Mercedes cars are firstly limited to 155mph, including the AMG's. However, if you ask AMG, they will raise the speed limited to a maximum of 300kph or 186mph. This is the maximum limit that which the car can go safely due to the tyre's inability to carry heavy loads at speed. One last exception, if some magazines would like to try the top unlimited speed of the car at Nardo, then they have to ask AMG for a special car which has no limiter at all. Such was the case here. But this sort of completely unlimited car will never find its way into a customers hands no matter how much money you have, simply due to the tyres and legal and safety reasons. But Brabus is always breaking rules.

bilal is right. i knew the same info about mercedes' s. thay are cars who tries to be sporty but simply can not. did you see the lap time of it in topgear, absolutetly bad for a 612 hp 700? (or what ever) amount of torque which is also detuned engine car!

as a proud Dane I would like to turn your attention to the Kleemann company.. I know their available in the US but I hardly ever see them popping up in these tuning discussions... Why is that? http://www.kleemann.dk/site/0618FA90...E68C2D75ED.htm
the figures say WORTHY or am I wrong

That's an incredible top speed for any most cars, and the sl65 is a luxury car.

It may go 215 mph, but the guy that was driving was probably pissing in his pants, cause at that speed, the merc is probably creating lift, while any other proper sports car creates downforce...

This sounds like when the MG Maestro first came out. It was claimed it could do 0-60 in 6.7 seconds but many blew up in the hands of the press. It was reckoned the boost was cranked up to allow this which made the engines go, lol. I can honestly believe a standard but derestricted SL65 could go 215 though, that much power and far less downforce than say an Enzo or CGT.
