dont leave the mouse clicked. YOu have to shoot bursts. I use the Spec Ops most of the time. If they are far, I switch to single shot, if not, I fire bursts. I've gotten better, much better now. I get more kills than ppl with higher ranks all the time. Im always on the top half when game ends.

To be honest mate, single player is a bit of a joke

Multiplayer is where all the actions at!

As someone said, shoot in bursts rather than holding down. Every gun is different and has to be handled accordingly, for example, sniper and support weapons are much more accurate if shot from prone.

Get online, get a few promotions, and you'll unlock some nicer, more accurate guns which should help you out a bit

Yeah yeah, I have ventured into multiplayer now

I am not sure what was wong with my game, but it all seems to be working now - I can kill people. Before, I kid you not, I could not fill anyone even from point blank. Started off on the wrong foot, but its all good now!

Dont get discouraged though. When I started, I wanted to throw the game out the window or flush it down the toilet. I got better and now I like it.

What is your fav player type?

I like the Special Forces weapons. I have yet to get to grips with the sniper. I don't seem to be able to hit anything with it!

My online name is [JW]jon_s

We should start to organise a meet up in BF2

the sniper rifle leaves 2 lines in the enemy's life line.. so you need 2 shoots to kill, if he is in full health

..like i said and like the link i gave shows my nick is Erez_Avital, lets set a date then

^ Sniper is good, but you have to be patient. You cant just aim and shoot. Try always the head if they are alone cuz 1 shot wont kill them unless they have been damaged. If you shoot at them once and they live, they will know where you are.

I use SPec Ops aswell. Best one IMO. Till I unlock 2nd weapon for medic, Im sticking to spec ops. I got Veteran Spec OPs award already.

1st thing about sniping.. is location location location with a good one they wont always know where you are, and if you fast, they wont have time to think about it..
(BTW- 1 head shot= instant kill)

Yeah, I've found several good positions. I always try putting a proximity mine right at the end of the ladder I climb to get the spot.

What I am trying to learn is sniping from real far. If you can barely see the other person, you wont be able to hit him. Supposedly, you have to raise the sight. I mean, aim higher than normal (there are two numbers below the X of the sniper).

@Demon- yeah from a meaningful distance there is whats call bullet drop.. in real life from the distance I learned to shoot from (urban combat, 50-150 meter [165-490 foot]) and with the weapons i've used you actually need to aim a bit under where you want to hit..
anywho.. how about this weekend for a little JW BF2 meeting?
