ws6's aint cheap either man
I can get you a ls1 engined 98 transam for 8000 dollars sub 70000 miles. ws6 for under 12000.

A supras gonna cost you alot more. twin turbo youd be lucky to get upper 20s for those type of miles that year.

Well he already has the WS6 so it won't cost him much of anything and the fact that it will be collectible since there aren't an extremely large amount of the WS6 packaged cars. And you could make a bitch load of power with bolt-ons on that car aswell and it sounds better. well atleast with the T/A interior he won't have to put in a million gauges and computers inside to keep the car from blowing up and hell if he did it would be cheaper to get a new engine than it would for the Supra.

If you have that much money to burn, keep the ws6 and buy a c5-r engine for 25000(about the cost of a supra - the cost of a ws6 from the same year). 600 hsp definitly has its advantages.

or the 500 hp version for 19999.

A race ready dry sump 600 hsp engine.. mmmm..
Then get yourself a set of good koni shocks and decent set of springs(I prefer eibach).

The point is.. given the cost of the supras right now thanks to market demand they are a very poor performance per dollar value. They are a great car and I love them.. But 33000 for a 5 year old car.. it better be a ferrari.

agreed. i don't drive a talon cause I'm loaded. dollar for dollar speed, supra aint the choice on that one, i believe i wrote that above. but style, speed, and street props, for sure it is.

I'm sure when you blow the doors off Supras with your WS6 you will get your street credit that way instead of cruising around in your posseur Supra just because you saw it in a movie and had to have one.

i say stick with the WS6 as well. i personaly dont like supras anymore.....i think paul walker ruined them for me, dont get me wrong they are wonderful cars and can handle ridiculous amounts of HP, but all the stupid ricer kids who have no idea what they are talking about regard the supra as the king of all cars ever made because paul walker drove one in some shitty movie, and im just sick of them. ok im done with my short little rant.

import vs domestic bullshit who the fuck cares? he has already DECIDED to get the supra..so instead of bitching back and forth about which is better, give the poor guy some advice...i mean come on..

so stop bickering and help him
and i am sure he doesnt want it cause of a movie..
and supras arent posseurs.....they cam with 320hp stock starting in 1993
there are supras that would hand a ws6 its ass in the curves and the straights, just like there are ws6s that will do the same, its all persoanl preference, so drop the argument and post something usefull

chill out man im pretty sure in the first post he said that he was "thinking" of getting the supra, not decided. and everyone wasnt arguing over import/domestic, ppl were giving their opinions on the different cars, not flaming about them. and i never said that he was getting the supra because of the movie, i was just saying why i didnt like supras (not imports in general) that much anymore. 8) and there were some worthwhile posts in this topic, they werent all as useless as mine.

WS6 all the way, hell supras almost cost as much as a used 03 Cobra. you can find cobras for high 20s now. If he wants a supra maybe he should look at a 03, with a Kenne Bell Blowzilla, OOO the posibilities are endless. Im not a supra fan, mainly because of the attitude most supra drivers have, even stock ones. Your car cant touch my car ever. My car was built by god himself. The WS6 is way faster stock, and handles better on a road course, and has the beasty V-8 sound. Just get that LS1 cammed, and 150 shot, and you got a sleeper, well until they hear the cam open up. Also WS6 looks way meaner than a supra.

alot of cars look meaner than a Supra they just don't have that I'm gonna kick your ass look like the WS6 has that thing is scary coming up on your ass. that and the fact that a WS6 can spin the wheels into second stock. IT's not realy sleeper and not realy mean it's just a simple looking Supra I don't even pay much attention to them anymore.
