Yes - that has always been the major turn off when seated in Audis, BMW,s Benzs and such... they are too clinical.
Then they alwayts try comepensate for the bland looks with uber-technik.. 
But then again, I can't say that I have ever takne the view of the interior of any car into account once the pedal hits the metal..

Not a big fans of that rim style on 5series...it looks good on a 3, but kinda weird in a 5...
and 5000rpm redline?...I don't t think any of the BMW has such low redline, including the diesel models.

there is no chance the new m5 will have a manual gearbox for at least 2 production years, if at all. 7 gears - not the easiest to design overnight for a stick shift pattern. I love the sight of this m pack though, it looks fantastic. Bangle is in my good books
