I think that the lap time between the two cars will be very similar, IMO the enzo will beat the porsche by a second.....mostly due to the ferraris electronic launch control and the sequential gearbox as well

Hmmm... i'm gonna go mad and say in the dry he will get 1min 17.2secs 8) I doubt they would run it in the wet.... it's too damn risky.
Also, i wonder if he turned TC all the way off... He would just be asking for trouble

Im pretty sure the track will be dry cause on the preview they had on this past sunday's episode, the track looked pretty dry to me with the Enzo on it.
|
But when jeremy tested the new 911, it was dry but the stig timed the car in the rain. so you never know i guess.

Actually, I doubt that they'll even test the Enzo, cause its probably privately owned.
I don't think the owner will allow the Enzo to be driven flat out, expecially with the reputation of TG doing burnouts all the time...
But i *hope* they do... In the case of a laptime, I can't predict, but its gonna be close, assuming the conditions are similar.

i have a suspicion that perhaps the cars will have almost identical lap times
the few straights the enzo would kill, but the 'lower speed' turns the cgt would be faster. the enzo produces much more D/F, and is the better car for straights, and high speed turns in that respect.... something that the TG track really doesnt have.
if our porsche expert, St-Anger believes the CGT faster around a track, ill believe him... not to mention other mag tests that indicate this true.

I have been proven wrong!
In that case, I don't know who'll be faster

Christ, what a hard question! The Enzo certainly has the potential to beat the CGT. So I am going to sit on the fence, and say that it will come down to driver 'error'.

BTW, I seriously hope nobody will post the time before the episode will be available to the community!
