Jeremy Clarkson needs hip op

The carbon fiber hip replacement, seems like a good idea, but even better and stronger is the stuff we use on our plan, some type of composit material, its alot stronger then carbon fiber, and just as light, and it hold up well aginst rocks at 130mph+, so that will tka ecare of that lol.

But as for the pain, that realy sux, I have an idea what he's going through after some jack-ass ran a red light and T-boned my Town car, he hit it so hard that it did a 180, split the rim were the concreet meets, sent the axel up into the pasenger side wheel arch, pushed in the all the doors a foot and half and bent the frame, after that if i tryed to do bend down for any thing, it brought tears to my eyes for like 5 months.
But as long as he can still drive he will still be happy as hell, i know i was.

Sad news.... he seems to be taking it in good spirit but really doesn't sound like he's gonna have a pleasant time if nothing else can be done I'm sure everyone on here wishes him well and hopes he continues to make such excellent car programmes (from a selfish point of view ) Heres the linky to the full article from the times http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article...7267_1,00.html

Hip operations are very common place now days, one of me friends dads just had 2!
I bet its JC's right one that needs sorting! Never know might make his right foot a little lighter!

To be totally honest with you guys.. I really hates JC.. I did not like his way of presenting.. But from about a year now I think he has changed and my hate turned it to really liking the guy opinion on stuff and accually laugh at his jokes....

So I hope the story ends soon with him being OK and back presenting those wonderful programs and write up in the magazine..

JC is indeed getting old. You'd be surprised how much older he looks in the flesh than on tv. But arthritis... ouch

Don't they have pills or some thing for that? i mean the cam up with viagrea, surly they have some thing for him, especialy some strong pain killers.

He used to smoke heaps. Im guessing his diet isnt that good either.

I'm not sure we can blame his arthritis on the tobacco companies though we do blame everthing else on them

After hearing about the future hip replacement, I was watching extra careful the current clips from Top Gear. My mother has had both hip joints replaced . I noticed the low slung chair that he sits in while chatting on stage, that can put extra strain on the hips. Eventually the pain for him will get to the point that he will have to sit in a higher chair, the pain will be too excruciating for him to get up gracefully. Also, expect to see less of him getting in and out of cars while filming. This may happen months or years from now, probably the doctor has told him that when he thinks it's time, he will know. Generally, the later you do it, the less chance that you will need to have it replaced when you get older. They ( the hip ball replacements) usually last 15-20 years. Hope he doesn't put it off too long, my mom did that on the last one and the bad ball joint wore off the pelvic socket so bad that the replacement was not a total success.

I can't belive with modern medicine, thats the best we can do! they make 800hp cars that go 250mph! and that's the best they can do!?!?!
