I'll sitck to coombsie's post:

Its the best comedy ive ever seen
it's funny to see, and that's all. I only watched each episode once...not like TG or 5th, and then deleted the archives from my HD

some of those cars are pretty low-powered and probably have a lot of miles on them, imagine what 500pounds of extra wheight does to it... remember one episode where they welded in a slding turntable in the back. They had to use pretty heavy steel tubing because of the wheight of the turntables. Front wheels are probably just touching.

the show is pretty shit in my opinion. they do the exact same shit too all the cars, say the corniest things they can think of when describing their additions, and they cry and run to a Toyota dealer anytime a car needs mechanical repairs. half the cars they tune up could really need an engine rebuild or something mechanically useful, not ugly body kits/paint and computer systems...

no, they went to toyota because number 1: a car was literally unsafe, it was cut in half, and number 2: they wanted the guy to work on his own car so he could learn off of it

Considering some of the cars on that show are in such horrible condition to start off with I think the rice mods they put on the cars can't make them any worse. The only really cool thing they do with the cars is the electronic stuff. They did lift this girls suburban and that turned out to be pretty cool looking.
