Not at all. I'm a fan of Pickups and SUVs... I just don't think it suits Mercedes.
brembo: Nice try mate, but there's nothing classy about sharing platforms with VW.
I mean, why pay 20-odd grand for a tarted up Golf? Because it has a four-wheel drive system that's inferior to what the Japanese offer? No thanks.
I would ALWAYS rather buy a purpose-built car... such as a BMW.

Lol. Nice try you guys.
To be honest, I would LOVE to see a BMW pickup. At least if the "|||M" boys get hold of it, the F150 Lighting will finally have some real competition.

Brembo, what kind of backing does Audi provide their cars in terms of warranty and maintenence?
4yr/50K upgradeble warranty with 3yr/36K upgradeble maint?
Audi does have class, I admit. I think it's the whole "owned by Volkswagen" thing that demotes Audi a bit for me. that and thier incessant reliance on turbos

Yes, I think most SUVs are ugly, and trucks with four doors are a lot worse. This looks better than that Ssangyong, but there are better looking cars in that class. The cabin is too long compared to the total length of the car.

Looks to be the exact same car as the M class SUV with a bed attached. Not much originality there. Mercedes is just trying to get their share of the market for thisntype of vehicle, although it seems like they're selling out to me.
