I find it rather sad that somehow the crappy new hemi engine made it farther on there list then the new 6liter chevy small block, which is probably one of the highest output per lb/reliable engines out there.

You have to be joking right? Those things suck, not to mention that about every car on the road today has a hemispheical combustion chamber. So yes, most of our cars today have hemi's. And they are old technology.

Does anyone know if they use pushrods or overhead cams

Viper, i completely agree about the Hemi. The 426 is the legend, the 350 is just a wanabe. I don't care what has a damn Hemi in it, unless there are two carbs on it feeding a pair of cast iron heads...it's not really a Hemi 8)

The real suprise was S2000 losing the 2litre. Maybe not a suprise for most of us but its a big thing you know

BMW won 25, HONDa won 21 and TOYOTA won 14
till 2005.

I assume the Hemi was picked since it has displacement on demand, which IMO is a legit reason to be up there. Why isn't the Carrera Gt's V10 up there with 106.1 hp/L, while the the bmw has 100hp/L and they both have great sounds.
