Nice story and awesome car Michael, I really like the color. Did you get the car soon after you bought it? I think it would have taken a long time if you ordered a new car from the factory !?

NICE!! I like the color a lot. A new car for the dog to guard...excellent! Do you keep all the rigs in a particular spot in the garage? Or do they park where there is space? If you're running out of space, I'll gladly "hold" one for you in my garage. It will be guarded by my dog, Boba...

 omg........ :faint:

Enjoyed your writing again, you should write novels.. about cars

Dont know why and how but you have a unique style of taking pics... cars look so "calm" and "relaxed", every pic is always saved in my PC wich doesnt happen very often I have to say

Cant wait for later impressions

Michael

nice to see that u add another car to ur amazing collection already

but, sorry, i just cant feel the excitment from the exterior of the car.. the front bumper is decent,, but the rear bumper.. what the heck is porsche thinking... I am sure the car drives alot better then the 996 turbo.. the grip level should be phenomenal

i don't mean to bash on the look of your new car,, but have u thought of porsche 997 gt3? or gt3 Rs? both of these cars are probably the best looking car out there,, and the driving aspect should be even better and more evolving then the 997 turbo..

even the porsche test driver, walter rahole, said, if he were to purchase a new car.. it will be the new 997 gt3.. thats how good the car is

but on the other hand,, the 997 turbo, is a great everyday car, and easier to drive on the limit, and is targeted toward different market

micheal, hope you put some milage on it and give us a review,, i can't wait.. and can you tell us if the turbo lag is still very noticeable?

drive safe

see you

When I was reading down your post, I first thought you ordered one, but then I red you bought the dealership car. Excitement rose But it was only when I saw the pics , I realised it's already sleeping in your garage. You lucky guy! This is a nice addition to your collection.

Can you already reflect on the driving experience or is this too early? Cause the one thing that bothers me a bit about the 997TT is the sound. I've heard it accelerating once at full throttle, but the sound was a bit disappointing. I was expecting more grunt considering the staggering performance of this machine.
