(ok - just kidding - but always wanted an excuse for posting about the similarity between these 2 pairs of cars... )
lol i didnt mean it that way, its just the general style of the era, with the "high" head lamps(still good ol' oldfashioned, not the high-tech stuff u c these days, they hurt your eyes!), and the round cabin, and air inlets on the sides. These days, lots of sports cars have this F1-style nose(like the Toyota GT1 and the Bentley), and air inlets on the rooftop

That's true - even the Corvette GTP of the era had the "956/962" look...

(sorry to hijack the topic/thread... )

Well, it´s hard to say who is the fastest...well, i think that Gran Turismo 3 is a very realistic game, not only in graphics and playable, but in the performance of the cars... I like alot of the 2 cars, they´re true ultimate racing cars, i think they´re the best cars for a lap through a race track, off course, a F1 car is better... but according to my calcules, both Mazda and Toyota GTone stay at about just 6 seconds under a slow F1 car, like Jordan or Minardi...well, let´s remeber that here in brazil there´s the F1 official track Interlagos. A very very fast lap there is around 1 minute and 14 seconds... i think the Mazda and Toyota could do it around 1 minute and 20...or more, or less, depending of the set.
Well, they´re to fast..
