Is this supposed to be based on the A4 underpinnings, i question that since it has the A6 interior, but maybe they're going to do that to all upcoming A4's. Whatever, doesn't look nearly as good as it should have.

Seriously, they had a brilliant design in the Nuvolari Concept:
A car with presence, elegant... and stylish, like the latest cars made in Ingolstadt - but this A5 is plain boring. The design doesn't inspire anything, even the E92 - those lights are exactly the same as in the beemer - looks cooler if you ask me
We'll have to wait for the S and RS versions, and see if their performance can make us forget the boring looks

i 100% agree. the nuvolari was SUCH a beautiful car......i'm not sure how they completely abandoned it and made this....which looks like such an average, middle of the road coupe.
I love Audis....but this car looks very very confused about its style...and those curves on the side, make me wanna puke! reminds me of a Hyundai.
it's a sad day when i take down an Audi...but this is the one

Maybe I have the cure for you, Audi S5

It's ok but there are a LOT of cars that will be in that price bracket that I'd rather have.
Audi S5 will probably be at least 911 Carerra (base model) money.

Oh no. You're brain's automatically rationalizing its looks because it's an Audi.
The S5 looks better for some reason, but it's still worse than "not pretty".

Yup, first Audi design that I didn't like in a long while.

The Nuvolari concept was much more beautiful and elegant than this new Audi A5/S5, but on the other hand the interior design is always top notch. Personally, I have no interest for this kind of Grand Tourer luxury coupe, even if there will be a RS version of it...give me instead a Sedan/Avant or a proper Sport coupe like the R8.

Oh shit, you are right, the Q7 is terrible too. I just completely put that one out of my mind like it never existed .
Well, that's two bad ones. Haha.

Not exactly what I call exciting styling. Haven't we seen this sideline at Hyundai Coupe?

Noooooooo! What's that?! I'm seriously disappointed
Not even the S5 saved it for me... I agree it shou8ld have been more like the Nuvolari concept.
