Yeah thats looking pretty damn nice now - Now you've got more power and more "subtly aggressive" (if that's possible) styling. I would definitely choose that over the Evo now...

Althought I'm not a fan of Subaru's at all... I'm sure the wing is functional, and the stickers on the side are there for advertisement. So you can't say its RICE

would it be cheaper 2 buy a STI yourself and modify it,
it has been proven that u can for a cheaper price buy a Stock WRX, and spend the same or less, as the STI model, and have it faster!

As STI's are much cheeper and well better in the US, if you could get a US spec STI its is close and you would just have to mod the suspension and the engine. In fact after those mods it would still be cheeper than the UK sti. As for modding a WRX to a STI, it might be cheeper for the UK but in the US its almost the same. M2 makes a package for around $10K that makes the WRX a little better than the STI and you get a M2 warenty. However it only makes the performance about the same around the track and in a straight line, i would much rather just get a US spec STI, than a modded WRX, quality and all.
Just think of the mods to turn a WRX into a competitor to the STI
here are some in USD
engine: 2500-4000 (chip, turbo,intercooler,fuel system)
exaust: 1000
brakes: 1500-2500
suspension: 1500-3500 (anti rool bars, strut bars, new springs and shocks, or just coilovers)
transmision: 700-2000 (race greas, or remanufactured sti 6 speed) you are going to blow it out eventually with all that power
seats: 1000 (although i like the WRX seats maybe more than the sti)
Wheels/Tires: 1500-3000 (gotta clear the new brakes)
any way just something i once thought about, my conclusion: WRX=very fast fun, modding is cool, but if you spend over $8K you should have just bought a STI
However I love my WRX
and i think that the type 25 is awsome!

Oh yea in the US the sti comes with defferent wheels that the UK, they are BBS's so just to replace the wheels and brakes on the WRX with what comes with the STI=
2500 wheels + $$ Tyres
3000 brakes
and you almost could have paid for a STI

well guess what in the states almost all of the FAST sub-$30k fast cars in the states are driven by that demographic. and guess what IM 19 and i drove fast cars under the 30k marker. and as a note even though a drive a large male reproductive organ in truck form i swear im not ugly or insecure (i know its seems oxymoronic).
Hey am i the only one that LIKES the new facelifted SUBBIE?

What about the second hand value? I've heard that modifications never pay of when you're selling a car. Of course you could keep the car forever
