Yeah...my friends mom had a pretty bad situation. It was her 'nameday' (In Poland people above 20 celebrate their nameday, not their birthday) and she parked the car outside a shop, got out of the car to collect a cake. When she returned the car was no longer there. Nobody saw anything, no traces were left. Although it was 'only' a Fiat Seicento it still was the worst nameday anybody could ask for.

Yep...I think that was the sitution in Sweden some time ago. Now take the percentage of cars jacked every year in that cpuntry and compare it with ie. Poland's rating. I see a BIG difference...

There should be a more severe law on thiefs, I mean they steal something,
don't have the money to pay, have a short vacation in prison, are out and
stealing again. Bring back those hand cutting stuff...
I am shure It will drastically diminuish theft, what your opinion guys

Especially jabba, sorry to hear of your misfortune as well. U go through these stages of bad luck i spose. But its only money, i aint lost a limb or nything, so i got my health to be gratefull for still.
Im still really pissed off about it, hopefully i should b able to get insurance, so aint so bad, but it really is a bitch.
I doubt i'll see it being ridden around 'town' london's a fuckin big place!!
For Jon_s:
It was a GT LTS-5000, i put judy 100's on it, XTR front and XT rear v-brakes, DMR V8 pedals, a shorty billet stem, azonic riser bars, specialised grips, mavic D521 rims, LX hubs, wiv tioga 2.1 DH tyres, an azonic (i think) chain guide, just spent 120 quid the other week on sum middleburn cranks, an azonic sofa saddle.
FUCKIN HELL!

Actually what usually happens when someone steals a vehicle is that they sell the parts
It is really hard to keep a vehicle and even if you do you won't be able to ride it around.
BTW sorry to hear about the bike hope those mutherfuckers die in hell

They used to hang horse thieves, whats the bloody difference with car thieves. Slap on the wrist is about all they get here in Oz. Time something was done!

I know how you feel. I had a few bikes stolen also. I ride a lot. I like to go to some mountaion bike trails and stuff. So once my parents bought me a bike some 3years ago, and I really liked it. It cost 400$ or something like that. It wasnt all that great, but I really liked it plus it was a gift from my parents. And guess what one day I come out of the house, go in my backyard and it was gone. Felt like you man. Then one more time some fucking thug stole my bike while I was playing basketball with my friends. I was in a big fenced cort at a local ghetto shcool. The the bike was close to the only exit that was in the gated court. I was on the opposite side, and saw this fuck come in and simply take it. Now I can run fast, but I could not catch him. I came to that school like 4days in a row, trying to find that fuck, but he wasnt from that school.....
