Porsche TechArt GT street S @ Hockenheimring:

www.heica.net/GTStreetS_klein.mpg

just finished watching the vid, and i`m sorry for this beautiful car because of its "driver"
watch it and you`ll soon find out how difficult it is to handle a 646hp, 641lb-ft car for a "normal" driver...
i know the hockenheimring quite well and that line this guy is driving, the braking points, the whole driving technique...what a dork....
i´m sorry for that car, but still quite funny to watch...

- Porsche sports car wins beauty contest -

the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S convertible is the world’s most beautiful open sports car:
this was the verdict of an international jury consisting of 17 independent artists, architects, art historians and designers in Milan (Italy), which came together especially to select the winners of the annual “World’s Most Beautiful Automobile” award.
it voted the Porsche into first place in the “Convertible, roadster and convertible coupe” category. the jury members looked at 50 new models from 20 automobile brands and manufacturers, competing in eight different categories.
the 320 hp, all-wheel drive 911 maintains the sports car classic’s characteristic styling idiom even with its electrically folding soft top. the body, adapted from the 911 Carrera 4S Coupé, gains dynamic emphasis from rear bumpers extended by 60 millimeters and 10 millimeters of body lowering. the fabric top is notable for its high quality and excellent noise insulation even at top speeds. tt can be opened or closed at the touch of a button when traveling at up to 30mph
the suspension has been specifically matched to the open body. the brake system comes from the 911TT and, with its four-piston fixed calipers and cross-drilled, ventilated disks, maintains its exceptional performance even in the toughest operating conditions.
the journalist and publisher Bruno Alfieri, who created the “World’s Most Beautiful Automobile” award in 1993 and chairs the jury, says: "As far as I know we are the first committee that deliberately assesses only the car's beauty! for this reason none of the members are car journalists, who would be tempted to assess quite different, usually technical, aspects of the cars. this year, the 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet was an obvious choice, though the decision was not an easy one."
the award is to be presented on March 5 in the Palazzo dell' Arte, during the Milan Triennale.

holy shit man, although i respect your opinion, i just had to laugh really hard, `cause i own two "Bangle cars", i just love his design, and i also love the 997, with the redifined 996 style with some 993 influence...
so you`re talking to the wrong person right now, and you are in the wrong section as well with such comments...j/k...
