Great sound, but, are you going to floor it to redline on the next vid?

Nice new sound, Dingo. How much traffic light sprints did you win thanks to these mods?

Exciting development today....got launch control installed on my car (all software, no hardware).
Basically I can hold the throttle flat to the floor but revs are limited to 5500rpm and 0.5bar of boost is built up while standing still! Did a few trial launches tonight and went alright....
More trials tomorrow when my tuner comes over and we'll do some tweaks.....will try to get video.

I dont street race anymore.....got caught at 170kmh on the freeway (100 speed limit) recently so I have to behave myself now.

Launch control rocks. I have mine set to 6000rpm and 10psi.
Gotta take it to the track one of these days...

Verso Automotive - its a new company here (started by a friend) and they have developed these things to run off the stock ECU. Anti-lag and ECU controlled IC waterspray is next.

No not full throttle, and remember the when the gate opens you lose some of that boxer rumble sound.

That sound at 5 seconds into the 1st vid still sounds strange to me... very different than what I'm used to.
I can't tell from the pic, but is that a Type S BOV or a Tial wastegate? If it's a wastegate, how are you liking it?

5 secs in....thats the wastegate screaming. Trust me, in person it sounds like most other modded WRX's - very tough from the outside IMO. Had a mate drive it past me a few times last night and I liked what I heard.
Its a wastegate and I'm loving it at the moment! The sound is insane in person, especially in enclosed areas (tunnels or the city). I love "gating" cyclists or motorists with the window down....they shit themselves.

I'm jealous.
I'll bet that it doesn't sound as intimidating as this:
