oooooooook update time again!!!
I found a new body, probably going to buy it for 100 dollars, still have to work some budget out, the pics are at the gallery at www.alfanatics.net, it's well...rusted...with holes, but, it's never been in an accident..
My mechanic told me that to bring it to like new condition is going to cost me 2000 dollars, 1000 when I bring it in, and then once the work is done, 1000, so, now i'm waiting for my other car to sell in the U.S. and get the money from there, it should be ready by July more a less, so that also gives me time to collect some more money....

I am a *big* fan of the Guilia, Guilietta, GTV, and even the Spider cars. Old-school Alfas are pure fun! I have been debating on a Duetto vs. a GTV 2 litre as a fun times car.
Keep us posted on how you are finding your ownership experience!

Oh yes... the 3litre Alfa GTV6 used to dominate South African saloon car racing for years... Ford had to throw the 5l V8 Sierra XR8 into the ring to be competitve..
I really love that Alfa - If only they were more robust and reliable - I would have one in a heartbeat.

In my book, I think the absolutely sexiest car (aesthetically) has to be the Alfa T33 Stradale. Look at Mike Sheehan's site for some glorious pictures.
As a famous automotive designer put it: "whena I thinka of it, i am think of a beautiful woman -- the bust, waist and hips!"

ehhe, nice to see that alfa's have a special place in your hearts...
as far as my little project, i'm saving money to rebuild the body....2000 dollars, only 1500 to go, heh, well with 1000 they'll start the work... so 500 more
