Well - since I obviously am an amateur - you should hook up with Speed... he could take you yhr 200 miles in about 55 minutes n his diesel...

Maybe I could borrow your Z06, then I will be capable of doing it in 50 minutes...
OK that's not even possible and you are full of shit saying you would be faster in your diesel.

Well - for those interested in the details of the drive... here is a mapquest link to the approximate halfway point...

http://shorty1.notlong.com

Just zoom out and then scroll along the road to see that its by no means a arrow straight road - but then again even the famed autobahns are not all looking like the Nurburging.

The curves in the Autobahn were designed to be taken flat out. Only problem, when it was designed, flat out was just under 100mph! LOL History Channel had an excellent show all about the Autobahn a while back. Showed a Ruf doing 200+ MPH as well.

You had to be moving at a good amount of speed to go that far that fast. Especially with slowing down when passing cars. Safety first! Plus, they might call the cops.

@ this thread.

103mph isn't fast, but 103mph average is pretty good, considering the distance travelled. FUCK DA POLICE!

1 hour 48 minutes = 1 + 48/60 = 1,8 hours

186 miles divided by 1,8 hours = 103 mph

So you're calculation is correct

That's pretty impressive, RC. Was this done at night? Driving at night at those speeds can be fucking dangerous because you're surely outdriving your headlights.

I am touched that you are the only one concerned with my safety...

There was a bit of a moon and the brights did their job pretty well.

doesnt' the Z06 have Xenons? at 106mph youre out driving your lights, with an avg of 103, he technically was fine..at average but his higher speeds he would have needed some 175 watt rally lights

Well - I didn't ctually drive faster than the pool of light.. - so "outdrive" is a misnomer..

And - no Xenon is a C6 and yuppie beamer thing...
