LOL, since some months I have around 1200 to 1800 unique visitors / daily, which is kinda a good result for such website. And always interesting to see some of them actually check out the links

Just an idea... instead creating all these seperate "mycarsightings.com" web sites, what about including them under the umbrella of JW? (of course these are seperate websites and still remain so - reachable via direct URL - but develop some kind of natural "jump" to the site)
Maybe something as simple as a common toolbar style bit of each page that has the JW forum or home page button right there... (besides the link exchange).
It would be sad to see member picture postings all be evacuated to personal websites...
Just musing out loud....

sounds like a great idea to me, having a dedicated page of JW members latest sightings, maybe something to include in the upcoming developments

Well my pics are still going to be posted in a topic here on JW, just instead of imageshack thumbs I will post thumbs from my website.
So its really not that different.

What would you suggest? I haven't had time yet to play around with it, but might try something over the weekend - even though I actually like it.

Here's a thought, and the same goes for TT's site too.
How about having a page with a log of all the updates that appear on the front page, because currently they are replaced for tidiness sake (and that works)
It would be nice to be able to visit the site, and go to the update page from a month, ago, for example, say if i missed it.
A sort of update archive, if you like.
Just something i would like to see

I thought about something like that time ago, but they I decided not to :bah:
I know it is a pain to go through all the archives to find the new pics if you missed the updates, but afterall, for my case, I have the last 8 updates, which usually stretch back 40 days or just a bit less. if you are forced to stay away from the net for more than 40 days, you will have so much catch up to do that my pics will be the last of your worries
Also, after a while I delete the updates pages, so basically for me it would be simply impossible :bah:

same thoughts as me.....as the last 5 updates for me would cover a similar time period to your 8. (since I update a bit less often due to fewer nice cars here).
