M5 Problems?

Yea the mod stuff is bullshit, you just have to be covert about it. I realized two years ago that the reason I got pulled over and checked for mods was the way I drove, and since then I've been a little wiser.

In police-heavy areas I go to 5th gear even going 30 mph. That'll make it quiet enough that you avoid notice. And right now I need to avoid notice.

That I recall they fine you up to 2000 dollars for voiding your car's smog equipment and modifying your car. They've basically lumped street racing and car modifying into the same basket to give enormous fines.

And yes, we have bastard cops.

That's also interesting about the Al tanks. I didn't know that one.

Yes, I would say they are a bit elitist to that respect. Like I said on the other forum, by far I think Lexus preobably has the best customer service.

This was released in December apparently as the 05 in the bulletin number denotes the year it was released. So i don't know what the fuck was up with that dealer, but the guy should have never been told to wait. My bet is that he went to a dealer owned by Autonation. Those guys fucking suck. They somehow find the biggest pricks and hire them or train them not to give a fuck :fist: This is why i'll never work at Bellevue BMW. :fist:

This is true.

My good friend was so fed up with Mercedes Benz being unable to adress the issues with his SL500 (yes this one.... :arrow: http://www.motorworld.net/forum/showthread.php?t=2796 ) that he traded it in on a Lexus GS470 (or what ever the giant SUV is called) and has been astounded by the fantastic level of service.

He described it as head and shoulders above Mercedes Benz.

Mercedes has fallen so far back it's almost sad.

Lexus as always been a thorn in BMW's side in terms of CSI and reliability reports (early 7 series programming issues killed us) But i think the gap has closed somewhat by now.
