lol BAR weren't always solid white, how long have you been watching f1?
less we forget when they were with Renault i mean Supertec and they where blue and white?
and i didn't say they used it, they tried to use in pre-season, (i think it was a chrome look along the underside and lower edges) and the FIA stopped them.
their half and half 'livery' (i hate people using that word) was also banned by the FIA,

I think it is useless to let Moto GP drivers test F1 cars! This costs a lot of money to let a slower driver drive the car, and I can't imagine he will give a more feedback than Schumi or Massa or Badoer or Gene would give.
I don't understand why they let MotoGP drivers test the car, it's just useless...
Exept that Rossi had a good day then...

Cost Ferrari money? Maybe in the short run, but if rossi becomes an F1 driver think of all the bike fans that will turn on the TV for an F1 race, and no doubt buy ferrari merchandise. The market ferrari would capture at having V. Rossi drive for them is huge, and would make them a fortune in no time. Second, Rossi is not he first bike champion to try driving F1, in fact although his name slips my mind right now there was another bike champion who actually won the drivers championship.
In terms of lap times, its hard to say whether or not he was fast or not. Im sure he wasnt trying to set his fastest lap but instead was getting used to driving with other cars on track with him. The spin he made was completely understandable considering it was in the rain.
Ferrari is a team which values winning above all else, and in no way would they jepordize that by putting in a driver they know couldnt drive fast. The media isnt privvy to all information in the industry, and I am sure that rossi is hiding some potential which we cannot see yet that Ferrari does. And besides, anyone here that bleeds red knows how important it would be to have an Italian driver in the scuderia.

I Think ur talking bout John Surtees He Won The Drivers Championship And 7 Bike Titles In Different Categories. I Think Rossi Should Try Out GP2 B4 Jumping In For An f1 Ride i mean He Could Cost Ferrari The Chamionship And Bernie Ecclestone Was Saying That If Ferrari Hire Raikkonen Than Schumi Would Stay Because Ferrari Woudnt Risk Hiring 2 New Drivers But If Raikkonen Stays At McLaren Then Rossi Could Drive.

Valencia 02/03/2006
Kimi Raikkonen’s V8 record lap of 1:09:423 set yesterday in testing at Valencia was eclipsed today by Anthony Davidson in the Honda RA106.
Just three teams remained at the Spanish test circuit today as the teams now pack up and get ready for the first official laps of the new season next Friday in Bahrain.
Davidson stopped the clocks with an impressive best lap of 1:08.543s, completing 70 laps in his Honda. His time was in fact even quicker than the record V10 time recorded (1:09.005s) by Raikkonen just over a year ago.
David Coulthard was back in action in the Red Bull Ferrari, completing 62 laps, suffering a quick spin as his V8 Ferrari let go, recording the second best time 1.8s off Davidson’s scintillating pace. Toyota were also on track today in the modified but seemingly off-the-pace Bridgestone-shod TF106s. Ralf Schumacher and Jarno Trulli some 3.5s and 3.8s seconds off the ultimate pace.
With just one week to go until the season is underway - Honda, Renault and McLaren Mercedes are all looking strong.
Valencia* - 02/03/2006
1 . A. Davidson - Honda RA106 - 1:08.543 (+ 0.000 ) - 70 laps
2 . D. Coulthard - Red Bull Ferrari RB2 - 1:10.374 (+ 1.831 ) - 62 laps
3 . R. Schumacher - Toyota TF106 - 1:12.065 (+ 3.522 ) - 79 laps
4 . J. Trulli - Toyota TF106 - 1:12.380 (+ 3.837 ) - 68 laps.
0.5 Seconds quicker than the V10s put that in your pipe and smoke it Mr. Mosley to think he wanted to slow them down.
