Well I dont know how much you know about race cars or racing but for your information the Vette and the 360 are in different category. 360 being in NGT or GT for the yanks, and the Vetter in GTS.

What you want to compare it to is the 550 Which during its short period in ALMS gave the Vette a run for its pride, won the Le Mans last year and nearly did the same this year. But props to the Vetter boys.


On the side note I seen 360s beat Vettes plenty of times....shit what was it........Ferrari Of Washington raced is some series....now the switched to a Maser....shit I dont recall the name of the series but the 360 dominated that series for a while and beat Vettes which were in a higher class then the 360.

First part yes, the Vette C5R races with the 550GTS....as for the Z06 against the 360...sorry I never seen or heard of that. What series? And I can clearly recal a 360 of Washington giving some Vettes a beating.

And Automobile Magazine's 385-hp longterm Z06 did in fact beat their 360 Modena:



Not too terribly surprising, considering the lap times that Sport Auto got for them at the Hockenheim club circuit:

The CS moves things on a bit, but so does the Commemorative Edition Z06 (for '04, I understand all Z06's get this same suspension):


So, close enough to call it on the day, driver, track, and conditions. Not bad for a car with "ancient" leaf springs.
