Well, it would be kinda boring I think and the problems with my potocamera are:
- will have limited memory left after a Ferrari day
- it's a photocamera and you can't take long vids.. it cuts after xx seconds.. I should check..
But definitely some short ones or some pics on the track are mandatory

^^^
And if I remember correctly video coverage of your lap isn't allowed on public days, unless permission was granted to you.

Well, there is always a way I guess :bah:
Anyway, the stress is constantly rising! Today I reserved a car, tried to snatch a MB C200 Kompressor, just because I already rented the A4 quite a few times and it starts to become boring LOL... let's see what I will get, when you ask something "different", it usually ends up beeing something else :bah:

TT, I would have loved to meet up with you and the other JW members there. Especially since the 21st is a holiday in Belgium. Unfortunately the Nordschleife is only open von 17:45 Uhr bis 19:30 Uhr that day, and that's not really worth driving 600 km for. Definitely not considering that I have to go to work on friday.
You shouldn't have taken a rental car, I think. My car has over 230k kms on the counter and I drove it on the ring a few weeks ago. Driving your BMW on the Nurburgring is like bringing your car home.
Anyway, take care. I would tell you what the corners are to pay special attention to, but then I would have to list the whole track. If I have to name one it would be Adenaur Forst: steep climb and then a chicane that you only notice at the last moment. Slow down when you see that sign! The Karussell will be easier then expected.
My advice is to first drive some laps as a passenger and then have somebody with some ring experience next to you when you drive your first laps. He can tell you where and when to brake, which is essential information.
Anyway, you're one of the most sensible people on JW, so I'm sure you'll be fine.
Enjoy! Also the other members that'll be there!
PS: you should all do like the guys at 8200rpm: Start a list. Everyone who plans to be there replies to this message and adds his name to it.

Sounds like an awesome trip TT.
I wish i could be there, althoguh obviously first i would have to learn how to drive, have some money etc etc, im sure you get the picture!
Be sure to get a JW custom shot with all of you whos going in the pic - just ask some random stranger to take the photo!
Hope you have a great time!

Yes I know about the 21st times, and that's why I decided to go Friday. this way I can lap the ring sooner in the afternoon and then come back home.
Thanks for the suggestions, but definitely I won't go for a timed lap dude, no need to know the braking points and all: I will be pretty slow, just enjoying my first laps there. I won't be alone, so definitely NO pushing.
I'd like to take my car there obviously, but I don't want to add another 1200 km to it in just 24 hours :bah:
BTW, the list won't be long I fear.. I guess we stopped at dodo, TT, Wutputt

You've got the right attitude. But it's not easy to drive relaxed on your first laps with the Porsches and bikes coming after you like a thunderstorm!

I never said I will be relaxed that's just impossible, even with an empty track!
