That is a pretty good advantage of the P4 , the memory management , while in an Nforce2 based Mobo a dual channel will give 5 to 7% of boost , in a p4 it can go from 70 to 100% boost , that is astonishing

Can you explain what exactly you are saying? - do you mean that the P4 is making full use of the memory basically?

Oh ok, its always good to know more about whats running on my machine..I knew it supported dual channel..and that that was somehow good just wasnt sure how it worked..thanks for explaining that!

And it works nicely in P4 and A64 , for some reason is very fucked up in the Nforce2 platform , gives you a 7% boost .

Well I would type msconfig into the run box and uncheck all your programmes that start up on boot up....then restart and run the test agin.
