If i remember correctly when the vanquish came in it only took a day to clear, so hopefully the f50 will be the same. The car should be at customs now, was supposed to flown in today.[/quote]

I believe the SLR is fully automatic, but has a 'good' sport shift program where the driver can select gears with buttons on the wheel.

Wait, you are importing an F50? Is it not a 95? I'm sure you know what's going on, but if it's not a 95 (ie obd1) you are fux0red.

Yea its a 95 and plus its a u.s. spec car, so we dont have to worry about it being obd2(i think thats what 96+ cars are called)

Ok, so long as it's 95 you're golden. Ferrari sent *all* of the 95 cars to the US because of the OBD1 vs OBD2 changeover. No one has successfully converted a euro spec car, and likely never will. Same with F40s - whenever you see a euro one, RUN!
I just got word on another F40 today...turns out it was a piece of dog shit. Oh well...the search continues.

Bobafett if your looking for an F40 I know www.LFSC.com has one there or atleast they did not too long ago. They are a well known dealership they even had an ad in this month's Car And Driver.
Here's the car: http://www.lfsc.com/html/detail.cfm?id=191
