This isn't the "post your ride" section, and I don't have pictures of his car, I haven't seen it. I trust someone that age wouldn't lie, especially seeing as the man still has a $50K car.
I can't prove that he had one, but I'm not laying claim to the car myself...

I think Ford messed with the wrong guy.
If I knew that JC was having problems... I would never give him a Diesel Focus as a replacement car for a GT!! And I would not want that kind of negative publicity!!

I do. In fact I don't think I would have sold it. He claimed to have put the coolant line back himself, rather than taking it to the dealer for service. He may well have been one of those two room apartment, 140K car guys, the type who live in LA.
It also seems odd that someone who would be able to accumulate such a wealth as that would be so rash as to sell it after only tinkering with it himself.

I guess it's becoz it's Roush and not Ford. If it's Ford, I am sure they would give him something awesome, hey, it's almost like free advertising. But since it's Roush, it really do nothing for them.

Why did he have a stupid alarm anyway?
There are 28 GT's in the UK - is someone going to steal it and then use it?
The first thing to be removed should have been the alarm/immobilizer, it serves no purpose.
Besides that, he was just looking for a reason to ditch the car.

That's what insurance is for.
The professional car-jacker looking for a GT will have the alarm disabled in a flash so it's a moot point - the targetted car is gone no matter what.
All you need is the factory key/ignition system... screw the after market crap.

The hyper tracking system is pretty pointless anyway. It proved to be all false alrms..

And apparently they aren't very well executed But then again it was a Ford - and to make matters worse, a Roush serviced Ford...
