you´re right, we´re in the middle of nowhere here, it´s just one big garage here rented by PAG every year for cold weather testing, and it´s REALLY cold here, fucking cold, -30°C is standard here...
we´re here with 955 and 997 modells, mainly for driveline setup, we´re nearly working 24/7 i´m already really exhausted due to the bad weather conditions, you´ve to concentrate a lot more every road is full of snow and ice up to now it´s been snowing the whole time, the 997 even had to quit testing for some time due to the loads of snow on the streets...
so we can´t really enjoy mother nature, it´s hard work to keep the cars on the road at that speeds, but it´s definitely an experience here...
thank god i took my computer with me, we´ve got NOTHING here, just some fine cars, lot´s of work and snow snow snow....
hope i´ll have the time to get back to JW soon...
hope that my wife already booked a holiday somewhere in the Caribbean area...

Damn, amazing story st-anger. I can believe those conditions are really hard for you to work in. But at the same time, this really is supercool IMO! Testing those sportscars in those conditions... awesome. Good luck in Finland, hope everything goes well!!

hehehe, so I guess where we need to go now to look for some Spy Shots of the 997 and the 955 hehehe
I know what you mean, it must be physically exhausting with all that snow and cold, but I bet the little bit of adrenaline you get from driving in the snow/ice will keep you warm for a bit..heh
Hope you're enjoying yourself!!

To come back a little... about the very nice CGT engine scale model... the auction will end today in some hours.. sadly as I was expecting, it is going pretty high.. I was ready to bid up to around 100 USD, but it already went higher than that sadly

So do we know what kind of engine the new 997 is going to have, because I thought I remeber reading somewhere that it was going to be a 5 liter inline 8 with around 500 bhp...
