the car is equipped with the std. GT3 tyres ( Michelin Pilot Sport N2 ) but´ll be changed to Pilot Sport Cup 235/295 when available...
engine so far is stock, there´re some mods:
-rear wing GT3RS LeMans
-short shifter
-racing steering wheel
-Porsche racing suspension
-15mm lowered
-RECARO pro racer 99 SP-G
but most important of all, the car is totally stripped out, it´s now ~140kg lighter than the std. GT3, measured at the weighing machine at Hockenheimring...
the car is street legal but is transferred to the track with a trailer...

surprise surprise....
no, to be honest, as i mentioned several times in "Pn" i´m not allowed to talk about most of the details of the new car, i can only tell you that, that there´re several options for the 997 engines, now even more, because of the MB SLK, it´d be a bit difficult to explain this in detail, but in the end it´s all about the marketing dept., e.g. the power output of the latest GT3 had been changed a week before the official launch, so nearly NO one could tell you a precise figure...
many of the ppl here don´t think about one fact:
there´re MANY editors of mags, etc... other companies,..., under the users of such automotive forums, that´s a fact, and they´re after some big news from users who´re working in automotive industry, to sell these information to someone else, so be sure i know nearly all the details of the future Porsche models, but i can only publish them here when i´m allowed to...

You can see the difference the weight/rear wing makes: There is a white GT3 in the vid which it overtakes easily........also a lot of M3s!!! However, did my eyes decieve me....did the M Coupe give it a run for its money??

Il love that GT3, my GT3 would look like that, stripped out, you don't need stereo, carpets, air con and all that stuff in a car like the Porsche, or a Ferrari, or a TVR and so on. Are cars made to be driven, not to relax you with all that weight that affects performances
